”grab”
【grabには「つかむ、引ったくる」という 意味だけではなく、「～を軽く食べる】という 意味があります。
▲ ダイヤローグ： Man: I took my girlfriend to that restaurant last night, and it cost me an arm and a leg. 「彼女を昨晩あのレストランに連れて行ったんだけど、 すごく高かったよ」
Friend: How was the food? 「食べ物はどうだったの？」 Man: I had to go and grab a hamburger after I dropped her off, as I was still hungry. 「彼女を送った後、まだお腹がすいていたので、 ハンバーガーを食べたよ」
Friend: Why did you go such an expensive restaurant? 「どうしてそんな高級なレストランに行ったんだよ？」
Man: I didn’t think it would be that expensive, you know. 「あれほど高いとは思っていなかったんだよ」
